In 2017 at Article 10, I was asked to design a microsite for the well-known vodka brand Finlandia. The project was to help them launch their new bottle design.
The new launch had many moving parts, but my job was simple: create a beautifully designed website that illustrated their new bottle and Finlandia’s story with seamless style.
Site visitors were initially met with a headline video that set the scene and inventively emphasised Finlandia’s new brand.
The consumer needed to be at the forefront of this website. Creating a 360 degree 3D model that could be interacted with allowed the user to have a sense of the bottle being in their hands — without even leaving the house.
Over the 3D model, there were hotspots to reveal every intricate detail of the new bottle. The responsive microsite also took the user on a journey through the Finlandia bottle history and time to launch.
